With exactly four weeks to go until the launch of PlayStation VR 2 (PSVR2), new details are coming out daily. Over 30 official PlayStation VR 2 launch games have been confirmed, including the sequel to one of the best VR zombie games around. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners 2 PSVR2 edition had been listed as a launch window title, now there’s a specific date.

Skydance Interactive has announced that The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution (to give it its full title) will arrive on 21st March 2023. That also marks the launch of the PC VR edition.

That’s not all, the original The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – which celebrated its 3rd anniversary this week – will get a free PSVR2 upgrade the same day.

Originally release for Meta Quest 2, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution continues the story of The Tourist. A lone wanderer, you have to fight and survive the zombie-infested streets of New Orleans.

With the same visceral combat as before, you’ll be able to wield silent weapons like knives and swords. Or go for louder guns, offering plenty of range as well as attracting the hordes to your location. The sequel offers new faces to help (or hinder) and new locations to explore. Plus a seemingly unstoppable axeman who’s hunting you. Additionally, you can now explore New Orleans at night, offering the chance to find more loot and encounter more zombies.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners 2 PSVR2 edition is available to pre-order now for $39.99 USD. Another title arriving in March is Supermassive Games’ Dark Pictures: Switchback, adding to the growing horror roster.
