Between all the major AAA blockbusters arriving this year, if you’re looking for a more unusual videogame then Humanity is it. From the minds that brought you Rez Infinite and Tetris Effect, this is quite literally a game about saving humanity for PS5, PS4 and PC.
Humanity is essentially a modern-day Lemmings of sorts. This time with humans as the ones needing guidance. An action-puzzle game, in Humanity you play a Shiba Inu dog – the most popular small dog breed in Japan – which acts as a guiding light. You then need to guide all these lost humans towards the light, saving their souls in the process.
This is achieved through an evermore bewildering array of trials, filled with tricks, traps, and obstacles such as water, wind, mountains and valleys to overcome.
When does Humanity Game Release on PS5
The action-puzzle game from Enhance and tha ltd arrives for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 as well as PSVR 2 and PSVR on 16th May 2023 at 9 AM BST (1 AM PST).

Enhance Games hasn’t revealed a price for Humanity. You can wishlist the game on the PlayStation Store and Steam.
Humanity Game Demo
There was a demo available via the PlayStation Store in February 2023, however, it was only available for a limited time. Currently, there’s no demo available on PlayStation or Steam.
Humanity game Steam
As mentioned, Humanity isn’t a PlayStation exclusive, it is coming to PC on Steam as well. The release date stays the same, 16th May 2023. And as you can see from the PC requirements below, it won’t be too difficult to run either, even in VR.

What games are coming to PSVR2
Humanity isn’t the only game coming to PSVR 2 on PS5. Also confirmed for May 2023 are Walkabout Mini Golf, Hello Neighbour: Search and Rescue and Another Fisherman’s Tale.
