When October comes around there’s always one thing we expect in VR gaming circles, and that’s horror titles. However, there’s a noteable lack of entries (at the time of writing), so will 2026 be a year without a strong Halloween celebration in VR? Or are studios playing their cards close to their chests? Either way, here are all the new VR games arriving in October 2026 that we know about so far.

October is set to deliver a nicely mixed selection of titles for VR players. You’ve got the big hitters like Zero Caliber 2 Remastered and Into the Radius 2, both coming to PSVR 2 after stints on Steam and Meta Quest. If you’re more of a puzzle fan, Shil is a mind-bending experience set to make its debut on Meta Quest, while InnerspaceVR’s Spymaster will be leaving Early Access with a 1.0 launch.

As it is October, on the darker side of the gaming scene, Meta Quest’s Dark Trip will be heading to Steam, while Scared by Squares will also be arriving on PC VR.
