Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss Winter Tournament

Called the Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss Winter Tournament, it’s open to seasoned players and newbies alike. Supporting both Meta Quest and SteamVR versions, if you don’t own the game and you’re on the Quest, Glassbreakers is currently available for free via Horizon+.

The schedule for the tournament is as follows:

  • Feb 14 – Registration closes
  • Feb 15–17 – Groups finalized
  • Feb 18 – Group Play Day 1
  • Feb 25 – Group Play Day 2
  • Mar 4 – Group Play Day 3
  • Mar 11 – Top 16 Finals

You can register for the tournament here. You’ll also need to join Polyarc’s Discord, as all the match coordination and tournament updates will take place there.

Prize Pool

So why would you want to enter the tournament? Well, you might just want to test your skills against new players and see if you’re as good as you think you are. Or it could be because there’s a $1,000 USD prize pool up for grabs.

Out of that pool, the prize breakdowns are:

  • 1st Place: $400
  • 2nd Place: $250
  • 3rd Place: $150
  • 4th Place: $120
  • 5th Place: $80

Even if you don’t place high enough to win some cash, you’ll still get a little bonus. As long as you complete at least one official tournament match during group play, you’ll receive a participation cosmetic, the Epic Spirit Hunter Mask.

What is Glassbreakers?

Glassbreakers is a spin-off of Polyarc’s hugely popular Moss franchise. Instead of a single-player adventure, Glassbreakers is a MOBA-style game, utilising characters like Quill for the IP. With a roster of 12 champions to unlock, each with unique abilities to master, it offers private matches, ranked duels, and AI skirmishes if you want to play solo.

There’s also plenty of customisation available, helping players tune their squad to their play style.
