One of the most long awaited VR horror and puzzle adventure titles, CONFINED: Leaving OKB-134, now has an official release date. Originally planned to launch in 2025, the game suffered a delay for unknown reasons. However, there’s not much longer to wait for those anticipating the game in both flatscreen and VR modes.

What Kind of Game is CONFINED: Leaving OKB-134?
CONFINED: Leaving OKB-134 is a first-person horror and puzzle adventure set inside an abandoned Soviet-era bunker. You’ll be exploring dark, claustrophobic environments. To grant you access deeper into the bunker, you’ll need to restore power systems, operate machinery, and slowly uncover what happened inside the facility.
The game’s focus appears to be on atmosphere and tension rather than constant jump scares, with an emphasis on environmental storytelling and slow-burn horror. In VR, the confined spaces and low-light environments are likely to play a major role in building unease.
VR Edition & Demo
Unlike some VR horror games that rely heavily on scripted sequences, CONFINED: Leaving OKB-134 leans into physical interaction. You’ll use your hands to flip switches, open heavy doors, manipulate objects, and solve puzzles using in-world mechanics. This kind of hands-on interaction tends to translate especially well to VR. It’s a medium where even simple actions can feel tense. Especially when visibility is limited, and eerie sound cues remind you that you’re not alone.
The game supports both seated and standing play, and has been designed with comfort options in mind. These considerations should help make it accessible to a wider range of VR players.
Furthermore, a demo version of the game is already available via Steam. This demo can be played in both flatscreen and VR modes.

CONFINED: Leaving OKB-134 Release Date
The atmospheric first-person experience has been developed by Fiend Games, and is set to arrive on 4th March, 2026. If you’re a fan of atmospheric horror, slow exploration, and tactile VR interactions, this is one upcoming release worth keeping an eye on.
