About Pirates VR
Pirates VR: Jolly Roger is a first-person action-adventure VR title that lets you live out your pirate fantasy. You’ll journey through the Caribbean tropics in pursuit of the fabled treasure of Davy Jones. Along the way, you’ll fight cursed pirates and undead skeletons, solve puzzles and uncover mysteries. All the while you’ll be accompanied by your loyal parrot companion. After all, what kind of pirate would you be without a sarcastic bird?
It’s not all picturesque beaches, though. The tropical island does have it’s share of sun-soaked beaches, but also rocky cliffs and dark caves await. Oh yeah, and those skeletons…
“We’re so thrilled to bring Pirates VR: Jolly Roger to Meta Quest players around the world! After working on immersive adventures, such as the recently released TRACKED: Shoot to Survive, it’s even more exciting to channel that experience into a whole new story about exploration, mystery, and the search for treasure – just like the pirate tales we loved as kids,” says Andrzej Wychowaniec, CEO of Incuvo.
Pirates VR: Jolly Roger Review
With the launch intended for last week, the team at 131XR had already dived into the clear blue waters and resurfaced with a Pirates VR: Jolly Roger review. The report suggests that the game is welcoming to those who, as stated above, wish to ‘live out your pirate fantasy’. However, the adventure game genre is very well catered for on Meta Quest, so if the theme isn’t exceptionally appealing, there are better games out there. You can watch the full review in the video embedded below.
