Aldin Dynamics’ Waltz of the Wizard has received the massive Skully’s Fantastic Fails free content update on PSVR 2. Previously launched on Meta Quest and PC VR, PlayStation 5 gamers can now embark on a new arcane adventure alongside your favorite snarky skeletal sidekick: Skully.
Waltz of the Wizard Update on PSVR 2
Waltz of the Wizard’s blend of highly interactive fun, mystery, and secrets has sold more than one million copies worldwide. In the game, you’ll experiment with spellcasting by physically mixing arcane ingredients and handling enchanted objects. You’ll also perform gestures that translate naturally through the Sense controllers.
The game’s environments encourage curiosity, rewarding small experiments with surprising reactions. On PSVR 2, eye tracking adds precision to targetting and spell control, while the headset’s haptic feedback enhances moments of impact or magical resonance. The result is a sandbox-style experience where exploration and experimentation are at the core of the gameplay, giving you a tactile sense of stepping into the role of a mischievous, hands-on wizard.
What’s New?
The Skully’s Fantastic Fails update expands the wizardry sim with a new rocket launch section in the Courtyard, a fully redesigned menu with a detailed Waltz Codex, and brand-new Tower events. Now available on PSVR 2, the latest Waltz of the Wizard update adds countless secrets and mysteries to discover, new magical spells and over 1,000 new voice lines for your wise-cracking companion.
