What is Sol Protocol?
Sol Protocol is a sci-fi roguelike design for 2-3 players. The idea is that you’re on a spaceship hurtling through space, and you and your team have to manage a variety of roles on board. These can range from pilot, where you’ll have to navigate the craft through dangerous asteroid fields, taking the gunner seat to keep the crew safe from harm, or get dirty as an engineer and try to stop the ship from falling apart. All crucial roles, all of which are interchangeable.
The ship is entirely modular too; every system can be damaged, fixed and upgraded. Singular Perception has designed the gameplay to be highly interactive. Grab the joystick to fly the ship, touch screens to bring up diagnostics and use tools as you would expect them to work.
Working as a team to explore the deepest, darkest regions of space together, you’ll encounter procedurally generated enemies. Space pirates lurk in the stars, keen to scuttle your craft and loot it for valuable resources.
