When it comes to adrenaline-fueled TV, there’s nothing quite like Ninja Warrior and its many variations. Originally starting like back in 1997 as the Japanese show Sasuke, Ninja Warrior has become one of those undeniable tests of skill and endurance. Soon, you’ll be able to try for yourself, with MyDearest Inc. (Brazen Blaze, Big Shots) collaborating with TBS Games on Ninja Warrior VR for Meta Quest.

What is Ninja Warrior?

Ninja Warrior is a TV show where participants need to complete an obstacle course. Testing their strength, balance, and reflexes, the courses become increasingly difficult as they compete for a cash prize.

In Ninja Warrior VR, players will be able to compete across four stages, three knockout rounds before the final. Adding a quirky twist to the ‘ninja’ theme, My Dearest has created cartoonish ninja characters for players to embody, with what looks like Gorilla Tag-style arm movements for locomotion.

Fans of the show will recognise many of the course obstacles, as they leap from one to another without landing in the water. Offering both solo and multiplayer modes, up to four players can compete against one another for a place on the leaderboards and ultimate victory.

Additionally, MyDearest Inc. has confirmed that more stages will be added in the future.
