VRKiwi has a long history in VR gaming, whether as a developer or as a publisher. Teaming up with Jetdogs for its latest project, the studio has revealed Sunstone of Time, a puzzle adventure set to arrive for most VR platforms in 2026.

An Ancient VR Adventure
Sunstone of Time is a journey back in time, to the civilisation of the Aztecs. A narrative-driven puzzle experience, the game puts players in the shoes of a young researcher whose scientific experiment goes awry. They’re then flung back in time, finding themselves in this ancient era.
“To return home, they must explore this world with empathy and intelligence, uncovering relics, decoding forgotten mechanisms, and connecting with the people whose lives and traditions still echo through time,” VRKiwi explains.
Players will have to explore magnificent temples and sacred sites, solving intricate puzzles whilst learning about the Aztecs.
Currently, Sunstone of Time is slated to arrive in Q1 2026 for Meta Quest, PSVR 2 and SteamVR headsets.
