Developer Silver Lining Studio released its ‘interaction fiction’ game Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery a couple of years ago for most platforms. Today, publishers Akupara Games and Akatsuki Taiwan have announced Behind the Frame VR, set to offer an even more immersive experience.
Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is based around “an aspiring artist on the cusp of finishing the final piece of her gallery submission.” What this entails is a casual gameplay title where you have to solve puzzles and guide brush strokes to make your masterpieces.
As you do so, you’ll be able to take breaks, going for an energising coffee to continue your work. Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery doesn’t rush you, offering a colourful world filled with beautiful hand-animated visuals.
In VR you’ll be able to pick your paintbrush and interact directly with the canvas. Or sketch out drawings in your notebook.
