Q-Games, creators of the PixelJunk series, are set to launch their newest title next month. Ahead of this however comes the surprise drop of a Dreams of Another demo, available now for PC VR players. The full version will also launch on PSVR 2 alongside PC VR.

PixelJunk Meets VR

Dreams of Another is the latest title by multimedia artist Baiyon, the director of PixelJunk Eden and PixelJunk Eden 2. The game is built around the philosophical theme of “No Creation Without Destruction.”

Rather than destroying objects by shooting, as in traditional shooting games, here, your shots materialise and create the world around you. This unconventional mechanic offers a gameplay experience that challenges the norms of the genre and invites players into a whole new dimension.

Dreams of Another Demo

As stated above, a brand new Dreams of Another demo is now available to download via Steam. This demo allows players to explore a snippet of the game and experience the fantastical dream world brought to life using  unique point cloud rendering technology.

However, there’s a catch. The Dreams of Another demo is time limited. The demo will only be available for two weeks. It will no longer be available after 16th September, 2025. So if you’re curious about Dreams of Another, now is the time to head to Steam and download that demo!

Dreams of Another Launch Date

The full version of Dreams of Another will be released on PlayStation 5, PSVR 2 and Steam on 10th October, 2025. It will be playable both in VR and non-VR. In addition, pre-orders are now open on the PlayStation Store for both Dreams of Another and the Dreams of Another + PixelJunk Eden 2 Special Bundle.
