Wired Productions and solo developer Tomas Sala have announced the surprise release of a free VR update for the award winning The Falconeer. Available now, The Falconeer VR update continues Wired Productions’ commitment to the emerging technology.

In The Faclconeer, generations of poisonous decisions and treason have brought colliding factions to take battle to the skies. Players will uncover secrets lost to the sea as you join, or oppose, different factions and clans scattered throughout the world.

Take advantage of multiple falconeer classes with individual stats. Varying weapons and warbirds can be upgraded through winning battles, completing quests, discovering secrets, or applying mutagens or chants. Use Ocean thermals and energy to dive, dodge, barrel-roll, and twist to gain an advantage.

The Falconeer is an open-world air combat game, featuring fast, brutal aerial dogfights. It’s not all about fighting however, with deep exploration of a fantasy open-world set not only above the clouds, but also amongst the waves and down through the sunken, ocean depths.

Also from Tomas Sala & Wired Productions comes Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles. A stand-alone city builder set in the same expansive universe as The Falconeer. Featuring limitless building, freedom and creativity, Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles encourages players to become the creator of their very own Bulwark, a fortress against the endless Ursee and its fierce inhabitants.
