Billete Cohete is publishing its inaugural VR title, Escape from Galaxen. Developed by Ramen Profitable Games, Escape from Galaxen marks a significant milestone for Billete Cohete as they venture into game publishing for the first time. According to the team, it provides an ‘excellent entry point’ for those taking their first steps into virtual reality with Meta Quest 3.
Escape from Galaxen is designed with the intention of paying homage to the classic ’80s space shooters. The game combines the nostalgia of that era with the significantly more modern immersive nature of VR. In the game, players will wield two weapons simultaneously, one for offense and the other for defense. Each of these weapons has been inspired by real-life toys. You can choose from five toy weapons, all inspired by real-world objects, to take on enemies in a unique manner.
The retro environments in the game will transport players to the atmosphere of ’80s arcade machines. Each of the 15 stages offers a unique sense of nostalgia for retro gaming fans. You’ll encounter 15 action-packed, retro-futuristic levels, and face-off in battles against iconic bosses that will test your marksmanship skills as you progress.
