Green Hell VR is available now for the leading VR platforms, including PSVR 2 and Meta Quest. Both platforms have recently received significant updates, with Green Hell VR on PSVR 2 benefitting largely from the power of the PlayStation 5. Developer Incuvo say that they have been listening to players’ comments and consistently working on fixes. The latest Green Hell VR update makes efforts to prove this.
In the PSVR 2 patch 1.1.0, Green Hell VR players get many awaited improvements. There’s a long list of changes, but the highlights include changes in gameplay, balance and haptic features. Everything is summarised in the patch notes below.
Green Hell VR PSVR 2 Update 1.1.0 Patch Notes
- Adjustments to food values and their preparation times
- Visual adjustments in dream sequences
- Insomnia fixes – time required for first level does not reset after loading a save. Insomnia levels one by one, but time required for higher levels was reduced
- Haptic feedback improvements
- New scenarios for headset vibrations
- Player’s forearm isn’t tilted anymore after rotating wrist, making it easier to use smartwatch
- Adjustments to tools balance – obsidian tools are more durable now
- Adjustments to audio volume
- Caves and buildings no longer cut off environmental audio
- Subtitles are now visible during vision fades
- Long subtitles wrap and should be displayed more in the center of view
- New background for pause menu
- Implementation of adaptive triggers
- Scaling UI will affect all HUD elements
Meta Quest Patch 1.4.0
As the new kid on the block, the PSVR 2 edition of Green Hell VR has obviously received fewer updates than its peers. So while at 1.4.0, the Meta Quest edition of Green Hell VR has also received an update. The full patch notes are as follows:
- Small general improvements to performance
- Adjustments to food values and their preparation times
- Visual adjustments in dream sequences
