VR publisher and development studio HyperVR Games has announced that their quirky supermarket sim, Shop & Stuff, is coming to PSVR2 this month. Soon you’ll be joining Meta Quest gamers taking on the challenging world of store management in a shop that is anything but ordinary.

Shopping for VR Kids
Shop & Stuff is a chaotic VR supermarket simulator. You’ll start small in a roadside mini-market and hustle your way up by stocking shelves, satisfying bizarre customers, and surviving the wild world of retail. Purchase new shelves and products to stock, help customers at the checkout, and keep the floor shiny. Slowly, you’ll see your empire grow.
Or, as is very much a current trend in VR games aimed at younger players, you can watch chaos unfold as wreak havoc with your shoppers. Whack them with a plunger. Spill liquid on the floor and watch the slip about. Electrocute them. Set them on fire. Whatever your masochistic little mind can come up with. It’s all in a day’s work.
Shop & Stuff Review
Last month our pals over at 131XR delivered a full review of Shop & Stuff for Meta Quest. The team praised the game for its take an action-orientated management sim with a side of humour. Unlike I Am Security, there’s still a game underneath all the wackiness. That means an enjoyable gameplay loop, progression system and everything else that goes with it.
It’s not complicated by any means, but remains simple fun. Covering both the bases is a very good principle to abide by in VR right now; appealing to a younger demographic whilst still offering some meat on the ‘game’ side of the game. You can watch the full review embedded below.
Shop & Stuff Arrives on PSVR2 this Month
As stated above, Shop & Stuff is already available for Meta Quest. The PSVR2 version of Shop & Stuff will launch on 27th March, 2026. As far as XRSource is aware, the two editions will offer content parity. There has been no mention of exclusive features or content for either version of the game.
