Men In Black: Most Wanted Gameplay
The recently released Men In Black: Most Wanted mixes explorative gameplay with gun-blasting action. Cast as a MIB agent that’s recently suffered an impromptu neuralisation, you’re tasked with embarking on a mission to save Earth without really knowing what is happening around you. A fine setting for plenty of interesting characters and surprise plot twists.
The game revolves around the idea that each mission has simple tasks that need to be solved. Doors that need to be unlocked, required items to be found, and so on. Each ultimately resulting in a fire fight with whichever alien specifies operates within that area. It’s a simple system, but one that works well.
Men In Black: Most Wanted Review
As stated in 131XR’s Men In Black: Most Wanted review (embedded below), the game is designed in such a way that it encourages exploration within each environment. The puzzles aren’t particularly challenging and are always based on real-world logic. As such, both adults and younger gamers can enjoy the experience. In fact, Men In Black: Most Wanted might well be a good stepping stone for new VR players to understand how the medium differs to traditional flatscreen videogames.
While that in itself is a reason for minor congratulations, the fact that the game delivers it in such an enjoyable fashion deserves more accolade. Men In Black: Most Wanted doesn’t rewrite the VR rulebook. However, it delivers the experience in a well made, thoroughly enjoyable adventure. And for newcomers to VR, that’s certainly what we want to see.
A Holiday Hit?
At present, Men In Black: Most Wanted is only available on Meta Quest headsets. And there’s no signs of that changing any time soon. However, this is arguably the best place for the game. The holiday season is almost here and many younger gamers will be receiving the device as a gift. As much as Meta has been trying to escape the view that the Meta Quest is simply a new toy for younger gamers, they also benefit from the ideal that the Meta Quest headsets make for a good holiday gift.
As such, with Men In Black: Most Wanted being featured as a new release on the Meta Horizon Store, you can bet that Coatsink are expecting a joyful sales season. According to 131XR, the game is deserving of this. However we’re keen to know your thoughts on the game! Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
