Just as XRSource reported last month, Aerosurfer is available now on Meta Quest. Designed around precision flying and time-trial competition, the game challenges players to glide, surf, and dive through a growing selection of handcrafted tracks while pushing for faster completion times.

Aerosurfer Gameplay Focuses on Risk and Speed
Aerosurfer has been built for short sessions and repeated mastery. The game places an emphasis on control, spatial awareness, and risk management rather than combat or narrative progression. Each run rewards players who are willing to fly close to the ground, threading narrow routes and maintaining smooth movement under pressure.
Speed is generated by skimming close to terrain, encouraging you to fly just centimeters from the ground. However, the closer you get, the higher the chance of failure.
You’ll control your wings by tilting and adjusting their body orientation, using subtle movements to manage airflow and carve efficient racing lines. This creates a constant balance between precision and aggression, where maintaining flow is as important as raw speed.
Handcrafted Tracks & Replayability
Rather than relying on boosts or power-ups, Aerosurfer derives its challenge entirely from movement mastery. The game features a set of handcrafted aerial tracks, each designed to test different aspects of flying skill. Some routes focus on smooth, scenic glides that reward clean lines and consistency, while others introduce tighter turns and rapid elevation changes. Tracks are designed with multiple viable routes, allowing experienced players to experiment with alternative lines in pursuit of faster times.
Most tracks can be completed in just a few minutes, making Aerosurfer well-suited to short play sessions. However, the combination of route variety and performance-based scoring pushes you into competing against yourself for mastery.

Aerosurfer Meta Quest Launch
Aerosurfer is out now for Meta Quest, via the Meta Horizon Store. The game is playable on Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S.
For players looking for a VR title that emphasizes control, flow, and high-skill execution, Aerosurfer positions itself as a focused alternative to more complex or combat-driven VR games. Are you looking for a new skill-based challenge in VR? Let us know in the comments below!
