VR Giants Gameplay
VR Giants stands out for its asymmetric co-op approach. The game pairs two very different perspectives into one shared adventure. You can step into the roles of Goliath, the towering VR giant, or David, the tiny but agile companion, and together embark on a journey filled with puzzles, hazards, and teamwork.
Together, you’ll overcome challenges across 23 diverse biomes, including Ice, Desert, Volcano, and Pasture, and see Goliath able to take on three unique forms. As stated above, the Meta Quest edition will launch with a pass that allows two players to join the action with only a single purchase.
The Story So Far
Since its Steam Early Access launch, the game has received enthusiastic feedback from players. According to Risa Interactive, one of the community’s biggest wishes has been a full release on Meta Quest. And that’s exactly what the team has been preparing for the holiday season. The PC edition promoted local co-op, with one player in VR and the other on flatscreen. However, with the Meta Quest launch of VR Giants, for the first time both players will be able to play fully in VR.
“We’ve listened closely to our community,” says Wolfgang Tschauko, founder and lead developer at Risa Interactive. “Bringing VR Giants to Quest opens the door for even more players to experience the magic of this unique cooperative adventure. For the first time, both players can step into VR — making even David’s platforming role an immersive experience. And with the Friends Pass included, it’s easier than ever to bring a friend along — they can join for free.”

VR Giants Meta Quest Launch
VR Giants is scheduled to launch on Meta Quest on 11th December, 2025. There’s currently no word on whether the Steam version of the game will be updated to include the option to play with two players in VR, or remain with one only available via flatscreen.
