The Meta Quest 3 uses a pair of in-house designed pancake lenses, which are flatter and thinner than traditional VR Fresnel lenses. These pancake lenses enable a slimmer headset profile and contribute to the Meta Quest 3’s improved field of view, while still allowing for sharp, edge-to-edge clarity. Inside the headset, each lens is mounted into a rigid plastic frame that holds it securely, allowing for additional functionalities like depth adjustment and prescription lens inserts without disturbing the optical alignment.

- For ease of access, remove the Meta Quest 3’s facial covering.
- Take the lens holder out of the VR Rock packaging. Each is labelled L or R.
- Place the correct lens holder over the existing Meta Quest 3 lens, and press gently until you hear a light click.
- Place the magnetised VR Rock prescription lens onto the lens holder.
- Enjoy!
