In VR it’s still rare as we tend to see flatscreen games ported to headsets instead. However, that’s exactly what Mighty Eyes is doing with Wanderer. Mighty Eyes’ Wanderer was an enjoyable time-travelling adventure when it arrived in early 2022. Surprisingly, only a year after its release the studio announced Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate, a complete remake of the game. New visuals, interactions, physics and content would be added to the game for PSVR 2, Meta Quest and PCVR headsets. At the beginning of 2022 Mighty Eyes released its first virtual reality (VR) in the form of Wanderer. A clever time travel game with escape-room-style puzzles, it was quite surprising to hear in June that it would be getting a remake. Now titled Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate, that initial reveal was for PlayStation VR 2 and PC VR headsets. Now it has been confirmed a Meta Quest 2 version is in the works too.
