We’re halfway through October’s spooky season with titles like The 7th Guest VR and Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord still to look forward to. However, one game that won’t be joining that list is Phasmophobia. The popular co-op ghost hunting game was originally slated to arrive for consoles in August, then October. But the Phasmophobia console port is still a way off it seems.

Phasmophobia Console Launch Delayed
August is drawing to a close and the one PSVR 2 game we’ve not yet seen is Phasmophobia. Kinetic Games had originally scheduled the release for this month. However, the Phasmophobia console launch has now been delayed until October.
Why You Should be Excited for Phasmophobia on PSVR 2
If you’re looking for one of the best VR horror games around then look no further than Phasmophobia. The ghost-hunting experience has been available through Steam Early Access since 2020, garnering a huge fanbase in the process. The only problem has been its PC exclusivity, as developer Kinetic Games continues to improve the game before an official release. Now, thanks to an announcement during the Extended Xbox Games Showcase, the terrifying game is coming to consoles this summer including PlayStation VR 2. If you love horror games you should definitely be excited for Phasmophobia on PSVR 2.
