XRSource has always been a big fan of CM Immersive’s Into the Radius series, with the original recently appearing in our Best Open World VR Games. Why the original, you may ask and not the sequel? Because Into the Radius 2 is still in Early Access development. However, that’s about to change very soon, with Into the Radius ready for its 1.0 launch this month.

Currently in Early Access on Steam is Into the Radius 2, the sequel to the popular 2020 original. A VR survival shooter from CM Games, the studio has just released its biggest content update yet. Titled Ghost Town – not to be confused with Fireproof Games’ Ghost Town – the update introduces a new location and more to Into the Radius 2.

In 2023 CM Games confirmed that the development of a long-awaited sequel to Into the Radius was underway. It’s a dark survival shooter originally released for PCVR in 2020, followed by a Meta Quest edition in 2022. Now the team has given fans a new glimpse at the game. As well as confirming a launch for Into the Radius 2 early access on Steam.

One of the best single-player survival adventures for VR headsets has to be CM Games’ Into the Radius. Earlier this year the studio announced a sequel was in the works, continuing the narrative. This week, CM launched the Steam page for Into the Radius 2, offering up some gorgeous-looking screenshots in the process.
