Last week VR developer Incuvo released a rather tasty DLC expansion for Green Hell VR. Doubling the size of the game – for free – is certainly a boon for fans. But it’s not the update they’re after. As previously reported, the studio teased a plan followed by confirmation of a co-op mode earlier this year. Now there’s a bit more info, with the unsurprising news that it’ll arrive in the new year.
Incuvo released Green Hell VR last year for Meta Quest and Steam, with the PSVR 2 edition landing a few months back. A survival adventure inside the Amazon rainforest, this week it got even bigger. That’s because of the new Green Hell VR expansion, Spirits of Amazonia Part 1, adding a significant chunk of content.
Green Hell VR is available now for the leading VR platforms, including PSVR 2 and Meta Quest. Both platforms have recently received significant updates, with Green Hell VR on PSVR 2 benefitting largely from the power of the PlayStation 5. Developer Incuvo say that they have been listening to players’ comments and consistently working on fixes. The latest Green Hell VR update makes efforts to prove this.

Incuvo brought Green Hell VR to Meta Quest and PC VR headsets in 2022, but PlayStation owners have had to wait. Previously confirming a PSVR 2 launch for 2023, the end seems almost in sight. A new trailer has been doing the rounds online suggesting the launch will take place in the next few weeks.
It has been over a year since Incuvo ported the survival game Green Hell onto virtual reality headsets like Meta Quest 2. Dropping players into the Amazonian jungle where they have to learn to craft and hunt, recently the studio has highlighted what’s to come in the near future. Currently, Incuvo is working on a Green Hell VR co-op mode and three DLC instalments.
