The original Firewall Zero Hour for PSVR was very popular and one of the best reasons to own a PlayStation Aim Controller. Developed by First Contact Entertainment, the studio released its sequel Firewall Ultra earlier this year. However, the game was beset by problems and didn’t become the expected PSVR 2 summer highlight. This has led the Firewall Ultra developer to announce that it is shutting down.
While most of the summer has been fairly quiet for PSVR 2 it’s set to end the season with a bang! Next week sees the arrival of Crossfire: Sierra Squad but today it’s time to get ready for Firewall Ultra. The next instalment of First Contact Entertainment’s tactical shooter, the highly anticipated exclusive is Firewall Ultra out now for PSVR 2.
One of the best team-based shooters for the original PlayStation VR was Firewall Zero Hour. Developed by First Contact Entertainment, it offered tense, tactical matches as well as being one of the best reasons to own the PlayStation Aim controller. Its sequel, Firewall Ultra is in the works for PlayStation VR 2 and with new gameplay details released recently, there’s even more reason to keep the title on your radar.
If you’ve pre-ordered a PlayStation VR 2 virtual reality (VR) headset you definitely don’t need to worry about a lack of content. Besides all the PSVR 2 launch games coming, many more are waiting in the wings. Some were seemingly revealed ahead of time this week. Several titles were listed on the German PlayStation Blog – before being taken down. These included Solaris Offworld Combat 2 by First Contact Entertainment.
