Omnifarious Studios’ Project Demigod has been available as an early-access game for just over two years. That’s about to come to an end with publisher Fast Travel Games announcing an official launch date. Project Demigod will hit Meta Quest and PCVR headsets on Steam at the beginning of February.
Fast Travel Games released the excellent Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice for Meta Quest and PSVR 2 a couple of months ago. Previously confirmed that a SteamVR version was also in the works, the studio has now released a date. Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice will arrive on Steam on 6th February 2024.
Fast Travel Games first meddled with the World of Darkness with 2021’s Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife. That was a suspenseful horror, full of atmosphere and vengeful ghosts. Action-oriented it was not. This year the studio returns to the World of Darkness once more in Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice. This time, however, you’re not on the back foot. Instead, you find yourself in the shoes of a vampire hunting for answers in Venice, Italy. And whilst you’re still sneaking around, this time you get to be the blood-thirsty killer.
MobX and Fast Travel Games released EVERSLAUGHT Invasion earlier this year for Meta Quest headsets. However, the response from the community was very mixed, with most finding the round-based waves lacked depth. The developer listened and has now released a new update for EVERSLAUGHT Invasion called ‘Resurgence’, hoping to do just that.
Where possible, one of the best features developers use to create longevity in a game is with a level editor. The likes of Vertigo 2 and Synth Riders have their own editors and now so does We Are One. Developer Flat Head Studio and publisher Fast Travel Games have released the level editor as a free update for We Are One.
When you think of VR game development, the inclusion of claymation rarely, if ever, factors into it. Yet that’s exactly the path new studio MoonHood is taking with its first project. Formed by the creators behind Ghost Giant (2019) and Lost in Random (2021), this new game will be published with the help of Fast Travel Games.
Fast Travel Games recently announced Mannequin, an asymmetric multiplayer VR game for up to five players. The initial announcement came via the PlayStation Blog, which detailed the game for PSVR 2. However, since then the studio has confirmed that the game will also be coming to Meta Quest and SteamVR platforms.
