MobX and Fast Travel Games released EVERSLAUGHT Invasion earlier this year for Meta Quest headsets. However, the response from the community was very mixed, with most finding the round-based waves lacked depth. The developer listened and has now released a new update for EVERSLAUGHT Invasion called ‘Resurgence’, hoping to do just that.

EVERSLAUGHT Invasion seems to have had a turbulent run up to launch. Originally scheduled for release in April 2023, EVERSLAUGHT Invasion for Quest 2 got a last minute delay. A delay to today, that is, as the game is now available via the Meta Quest Store.

Last month XR Source reported on developer MobX and publisher Fast Travel Studios’ plans to release EVERSLAUGHT Invasion in April. There was a delay, however, with the action roguelike release pushed back a month. Now they’ve confirmed EVERSLAUGHT Invasion’s Meta Quest 2 release for May.

MobX launched EVERSLAUGHT for PC VR headsets a couple of years ago. This action roguelike was clearly geared towards veteran VR players, due to its locomotion and gameplay style. In 2022, the developer revealed that a Meta Quest 2 version was on the way. Now called EVERSLAUGHT Invasion that launch happens later this month.
