Secret of the Mimic in VR

There are a multitude of titles in the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise (known as FNaF), with Secret of the Mimic being the eleventh mainline game. While the first games had you watching over Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria at night, this version takes place in the abandoned workshop of Murray’s Costume Manor.

Once again, the animatronics come to life in new and unsettling ways. Now you have to beware of The Mimic, a prototype endoskeleton that can adapt to any costume and become any character. As you search the labyrinthine manor, you’ll have to retrieve Fazbear’s prized prototype technology all while evading this new horror.

FNaF in VR

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic VR will be the third iteration of the game series to come to VR. The last two were Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted (2020) and Help Wanted 2 (2024). Both of these proved incredibly popular and even made their way to Meta Quest. One edition that wasn’t as successful was Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery. This was a mobile title that employed augmented reality to bring the FNaF monsters to life in your home, although it never quite caught on.
