VR developer Ludact has always been known for its beautiful gaming visuals, ever since Unbinary (2022). And that trend is set to continue with the upcoming launch of My Monsters for Meta Quest and SteamVR. Ludact has now confirmed the wait is almost over, with the release occurring next week.

Launch Details
Originally, My Monsters was slated for a September launch. The official release has only been pushed back slightly, now taking place on 2nd October 2025. So that’s not too long to wait for this uniquely immersive VR game.
And to pass the time, you can always check out the free My Monsters demo. A basic demo was made available last year, but over the summer, Ludact updated it and made it more easily available via the Horizon Store for Meta Quest. This version added “new mechanics, new characters, and the evolving bond between the player and their little monster.”
Furthermore, in preparation for the launch, you can pre-order the Meta Quest edition of My Monsters now with a 15% discount.
Hand-Painted Mental Health
My Monsters is a VR action-adventure game filled with 70 handcrafted maps across 3 biomes. Its third-person gameplay sees you in control of Moti, your inner monster. That’s the simple explanation, anyway. My Monsters‘ deeper focus is on mental health, tackling the various struggles everyone encounters day-to-day. Issues like anxiety, fear, and loneliness are portrayed through a visually surreal and emotional narrative.
Similar to games like Moss, My Monsters employs a self-coop gameplay, where you control and help Moti solve puzzles, fight enemies and learn new skills. All the while, that mental health struggle stays at the forefront, ensuring Moti doesn’t lose control when fear takes over.
